前回に引き続き、今回も芸術関係の日記をお届けします。
皆さんはパイプオルガンをご存知でしょうか？キリスト教の協会やコンサートホールなどで見かけたことがあるかと思いますが、フィリピンにも独特のパイプオルガンがあるのです。
その全貌やいかに。




《英語日記》
The Las Piñas Bamboo Organ in the Philippines has witnessed history unfold.
It is a 19th-century church organ with unique organ pipes almost entirely made of bamboo.
Although it was unplayable for a long time, the instrument was rendered as important.
It was restored and the instrument was reborn.
Today, there’s an annual festival to celebrate the music of the Las Piñas Bamboo Organ.
